I often wondered, what makes business thrive? Certainly, making profits quarters by quarters & generating enough cash to survive for next few rainy days makes prospects more bright, it’s not just plain old story these days.

Is it all we belong to? Making profits & generating cash? Is it all for we work so hard? After all if you look down some 2 years old balance-sheet, you won’t be able to even remember, how much profit have we made in those quarters. Then why we stress too much on these numbers?

It’s easy to answer. By building profits & sharing those good numbers, we make our own and company’s future secure. But by the time we bask in glory of achieving those coveted numbers, we often overlook the fact, which is equally important- building trust & sharing good old values among community.

I often wondered, why shouldn’t we be pursuing old engineering problems to chart our own ways? What if we could find best possible outcome through, fun-impact-money triangle? Isn’t it possible? Business exists to make profits, but that’s not only or ultimate goal to exist. There’s something more to it..more to those numbers. The real meaning can’t be understood by some sheets, but by doing equally good for our society.

And I often wanted to tell my colleagues in company, let’s pursue something more important, may be a real world problem or may be something that would bring smile on faces of those who actually in need of it. Cash will always follow…

Still confused?
